Not to long ago I was a Store Manager at Longs Drugs Store. Our selection was huge as we sold a variety of Hawaiian products.  Today our wholesale distribution company carries less products due to Longs Drugs being sold to CVS. The Stores in Hawaii are still Longs which is a great thing.  The CVS and Walgreen Stores are limited on selection at least in Las Vegas. But the great thing is that many of the hard to locate items are available at Hawaiian Food Online click here to E-mail us and we will be happy to look in to your request.

As many of our Customers know,  shipping becomes the biggest factor when ordering perishable items from Hawaiian Food Online.
When we pack your order all the contents are placed in a, leak proof container with our special ice than sealed. It is always better to send the shipment overnight since the item is subject to some thawing. All of our packing materials are recyclable though.  And of course if you compared what Fed Ex would actually charge you on there web site..We are a lot better in pricing.  So we appreciate your business and when it’s time to order,  remember Hawaiian Food Online

Well, I’m back from Vegas! …And I totally forgot I didn’t have any ready for my blog. DOH.

But I had a really good time and saw lots of cool things. However, I did come to one conclusion: if you aren’t drunk or gambling, Vegas wasn’t designed for you. My boyfriend and I are neither, and we discovered how sore feet can get trying to hoof it through Vegas to see all the cool stuff to see. There is a lot.

For example:

mirage volcano eruption vegas An erupting fountain. (The Mirage)

Bellagio Fountain Vegas Dancing fountains. (This may look cool, but it’s nothing compared to watching the whole show.) (The Bellagio)

Rome Vegas Caesar's Palace statue fountain Rome, inside Vegas! (Caesar’s Palace)

Shark Vegas Mandalay Bay Aquarium A SHARK. (Mandalay Bay Aquarium, and possibly my favorite part of our vacation)

Luxor Vegas elevator art It even looked cool inside the elevators! (The Luxor)

I’m pretty sure Vegas’s collective motto is “Go big or go home.” We also saw a couple really…

This dish was fresh, crisp, and simply delicious! It was great for a nice summer evening dinner with the family.

Here’s the recipe (found from Real Simple magazine).

Combine 3 Tbsp. honey, 1 tsp. orange juice, and 1/2 tsp. each of salt and pepper. Place 4 chicken legs (about 2 1/2 lb. total) on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet and brush with the glaze. Roast on the top rack of a 475 degree oven, basting twice, until cooked through, 18-22 minutes.

For the Salad: Combine 2 peeled and sliced oranges, 2 sliced avocados, 1 Tbsp each of olive oil and red wine vinegar, and salt and pepper.
